     ***Mileage is a HUGE tax benefit!  Be sure to have a log book in EACH vehicle you drive!  Every time you deliver books, products, replacements, mail, attend meetings, etc you need to log your mileage!  DON'T wait til the year is over!  You will NOT be able to remember ALL your stops!

     Also, be sure to get a separate business receipt for all purchases at the store!  And record your mileage! 

     
    Following are frequently asked questions and answers that you may find helpful as you prepare to file income 
    taxes for your Tupperware business. 
     
    1. What tax forms or reports will I receive from Tupperware? 
     Tupperware will mail a 1099-MISC form and 1099 Detail Report to sales force members who 
    achieved a minimum of $5,000 in Personal Retail Sales or earned a minimum of $600 in 
    bonuses/awards during prior year. 
     As a courtesy, the 1099 Detail Report will also be available in My Sales for active sales force 
    members (including those that do not meet the requirements to receive a 1099-MISC form). 
     The My Sales Year End Summary Report will be available in My Sales for all active sales force 
    members. 
     
    2. What is the 1099 Misc Form? 
    This is the official tax form that you will receive reporting your income from Tupperware. You will receive 
    this report only if you earned a minimum of $600 in the form of bonuses, awards, trips, or prizes, or, a 
    minimum of $5000 in retail sales during prior year. These are requirements set by the federal government. 
    The 1099-MISC form will reflect the total amount of compensation you received from Tupperware in the 
    form of Bonuses or Awards. 
     
    3. What is the 1099 Detail Report? 
    The 1099 Detail report itemizes the compensation you received from Tupperware. All bonus payments, 
    awards, prizes, or trips that you earned during prior year will be listed. If qualified, this report will 
    accompany your 1099-MISC form, if not; the 1099 Detail report will also be available in My Sales as an 
    online report. The items on this report should total the amount of compensation that Tupperware reports on 
    your 1099-MISC form. 
     
    4. What is the My Sales Year End Summary report? 
    The My Sales Year End Summary report outlines every order that you entered into the My Sales Web 
    Application during prior year. For each order, it will list the total amount of Retail Sales you received and 
    the costs you incurred. 
     
    5. When will I receive these reports? 
    The 1099-MISC Form and 1099 Detail report will be mailed to qualifiers by January 31 of the current year. 
    The 1099 Detail Report will also be made available in the My Sales Web Application as an online report by 
    January 31 of the current year. The My Sales Year End Summary report is now available year-round as an 
    online report in My Sales. 
     
    6. What should I do if my Name, Address, or Social Security Number is incorrect on my reports? 
    Call Tupperware Customer Care at 1-888-921-7395 to report incorrect information on your reports. We will 
    correct the information and issue a replacement 1099 form if necessary. 
     
    7. What should I do if I believe that the data on a report is incorrect? 
    Call Tupperware Customer Care at 1-888-921-7395 for assistance.

    Be sure to print out your Year End Summary in web order entry - under Reports - Year End. This will give you a total of Samples (advertising) purchased, Sales Aids (office expenses), consulant tax and shipping paid, and your retail sales amounts.
